Blue Rodeo brought the house down!!!

Chris, Bobbi-Jo and I went to a fantastic Blue Rodeo concert on Saturday night! The kidlets were left with grandma and the three of us had a great night out. The opening act was Matt Mays and El Torpedo - you might know them better by their song "Cocaine Cowgirl". Blue Rodeo came out and the whole place (which wasn't very full) went absolutely nuts. During the concert there was a part when they played some accoustic stuff and afterwards the one singer says to this woman in the front area "I know this is rude and very unproffesional of me but I just have to say it - did you get everything you wanted to say in your conversation said during that song?" Then the other guy pipes up and says "sorry I had to interrupt your conversation with my singing" Well the whole place just burst out laughing!!! After the concert BJ, Chris and I walked back to moms place and got her truck and made our way over to BP'S for a late night snack. I apologize to anybody we woke up while walking home and singing some good ol' Blue Rodeo at the top of our lungs - totally out of tune of course! We got back to moms around 12:30am. We all went straight to bed seeing as we were getting up at five the next morning to make our way into Lethbridge for some shopping.

We all got up bright and early and left for Lethbridge at 6:30am. After we dropped the car off at the lake Chris jumped into the truck with dad and off we went.
Katie-Jo, Trevor and Bradley drove from Elkford and Kelli-Jo drove from Brooks and we all met in the big city. It has been a year since all four of us girls had been together so it was a real treat for mom and dad to have all their kiddies home! Bobbi-Jo, her friend Kerri and I went shopping for some bridesmaid dresses for BJ's wedding in Costa Rica. We found some really nice dresses that are very flattering and have a really nice flow to them. Best part is - she is getting married on the beach so we don't have to wear dress shoes - I bought my black flip flops yesterday afternoon!

Today mom and I got up early and came to Elkford with the kidlets to visit with Kelli-Jo and Katie-Jo unfortunately Bobbi-Jo had to stay in cranny cause she had school. Chris went out to the lake with dad to do some turkey hunting this week. We all went for a nice soaker in the hot tub tonight - nothing like bathing with a couple of your sisters!!!
