Anniversary Suspense - I CAN'T HANDLE THIS!!!!

As I have mentioned earlier this month tomorrow is our 3 year anniversary. Chris has something planned but will not tell me what it is. He made a card for me at the beginning of the month telling me that he had made plans and not to ask around cause nobody else knows what is going on. Yesterday I received a letter from him giving me instructions to do some packing today. Tonight I got a letter telling me not to follow him around the house and that I had to be ready to go tomorrow no later than 10:30. THIS IS MAKING ME CRAZY!!!! I don't do well with suspense! Christmas is the worst for me, I stay up all night cause I am too excited for Christmas the next day! This past Christmas I actually got a bit of sleep - I think it was being 8 months pregnant that probably helped - then again the year before I was nine months pregnant and didn't get a wink! I will post what happens tomorrow when we get back from wherever we are going!

The Table!!!!!!

I found the table I want at the sale I went to yesterday. It is a big square glass top table with an iron bottom, it is higher that most tables, the chairs are iron with black seat cushions, you kinda have to do the hhhmmmph bounce thing to get into the chairs, and it seats 8! It is stunning to look at - I have to have it!!! so if it is there still in a few weeks and has come farther down in price then maybe we will consider it - till then I will keep dreaming about it! I made rice pudding tonight - I have been craving it like mad! NO I am not pregnant! I just wanted the pudding and a taste of home. I remember coming home from school and going to the fridge to look for something to eat. If mom had made rice pudding the tupperware container that she always put it in would be in the fridge on the bottom left shelf. I remember the container - the one with the vent hole on the rim with the big knob handle in the middle. Mom, I used to sneak spoonfuls!

Watson Lake - home to north america's largest collection of stolen property - AKA - Sign Post Forest

On Monday Chris and I took the kids down to see the largest collection of stolen property in north america - or at least in the yukon! In 1994 Chris and his grandparents took a trip up to the north and while in Watson Lake they hung a sign up at the signpost forest. So we took the kids to Watson Lake to go and find the sign and get a picture there. We are planning to send the picture home to his grandma. While down there we went and had a visit with our friends and their animals. Seems that the animals took quite a liking to the kids. Winston the cat looks pretty interested in what Zach is doing with his toy. Hobie the dog was quickly pacified with well... the pacifier! On the way home we took a hike into Rancheria Falls - I took pictures with the other camera so I will have to get the film developed and then hopefully be able to download some of the pics on here. Tomorrow the kids and I are going to head into the big city and see what kind of smokin deals the furniture store thats going out of business has. I need a new table and chair set!

Our Trip to the Hotsprings!

On Saturday Chris and I took the kids in to Whitehorse and to the Takini Hot Springs. It was so nice to go and relax in a larger than normal bathtub! The kids loved the water - Zach loved it so much he probably would have fallen asleep in there! After the hotsprings we did the grocery shopping and then went out for some din din at one of the chinese food places in town. While out shopping we managed to snag a few good kids things on sale at superstore - don't they look so cute sitting at their new patio table?

The Passports are Here!!!!

Our passports finally came today - YYYYYYAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!! Now we can go to the states - but we're still going to the hotsprings tomorrow! Got the car all cleaned out, vacuumed, armor alled and windexed - I hate it when there is dirt in the car. It finally stopped raining and now the sun is shining - I think it is a good night for a walk. Talk later.

The Worst Dream EVER!!!

I got to quit eating shit before bed! Aside from the fact it isn't good for me it gives the worst dreams in the world! The other night I dreamt that we got the phone bill and it was $310.00!!! The scary part of that dream is not the fact I dreamt it would be $310.00 its that those who talk on the phone with me would most likely make the comment "Are you sure it was a dream?". My mom and dad have dubbed me ma bell junior because I talk on the phone so much. One day I accidentally phoned my brother in laws mom and dad's house and was chatting it up with his mom all the time wondering why the hell she wasn't going to get my sister and also wondering why she had answered the phone at their house. So when she said that she had to go put dinner on I realised that I had in fact phoned the wrong number. OOOPS! A while back I told her that I would phone sears just to talk to somebody, so when she asked if the sears lady was too busy to talk I should have clued in then that I had called the wrong house! Oh well BJ got a good laugh! So anyway, last night I had the most horrible dream I could ever possibly have. I dreamt that I took Zach into the doc and it turned out that my old neighbour two doors down from my childhood home was the doctor. She listened to his chest and said he sounded raspy so she stuck this tube down his throat all the while he was screaming his head off and I couldn't do anything. Then I seen this big red ball stick out of his throat. She rips the tube out and then they start doing chest compressions on him and giving him mouth to mouth. I was finally able to wake myself up! My throat is sore from doing that whole sleep crying and screaming thing. Like I said I have to lay off the shit before bed!

Tomorrow we were going to take the kids to Whitehorse to the hot springs. We were going to go swimming at the pool but they are closed for maintenance. Then we were going to take them down to Skagway Alaska but our birth certificates are still out with our passport applications. So to the hotsprings we go!

Yesterday we went over to Monty and Sonny's place for din din and a round of horse shoes. We played boys against girls. Monty and I were down 18 to 1 and made a serious comeback to lose the game at 21 to 10. We were pretty impressed with ourselves!

Zach got his first tooth two days ago! Poor kid is slobbering worse than a Saint Bernard! We have been changing his outfits at least three times a day! Dani has finally cut one of her eye teeth - man that looks painful, these ones have taken the longest to break through the gums. Zach has been pushing himself up onto his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. I figure it will be any day now that he starts crawling! Dani continues to amaze us with her words and vocabulary. Her newest thing is "Cheers". She wants to clink her glass or bottle with anyone holding a drink. She even clinked and cheered the chair the other day! She has started running around a lot more and it is probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen! Instead of just running normal she puts both of her arms back behind her in a flying type stance and runs like that. She looks hilarious!

MORE RAIN!!!!

Well thats it for summer I suppose! It was nice for the last week and now it is pissing rain like there is no tomorrow! I'm glad I couldn't find a sitter for the babes today - would have been a waste of time to go into town for shipyards farmers market. Nobody likes to come out if its raining. I did however make a dozen muffins last night for a lady in town who wanted them on special order - lucky for me Jan and Garry are still going to town and can drop them off for me. I think I am going to go out for lunch with the kids this afternoon - not that they really eat a whole lot but it gives me something to do! I'll write more later.

All Baking May Contain NUTS!!!

I have gone to shipyards park farmers market for the last two Thursdays now - I have just about sold out of all my pies each time. The first Thursday that I went I brought two pies home and this Thursday I brought one pie home. I had a few repeat offenders this week. In fact one lady came over and was disappointed to see that I didn't make any apple muffins so... she special ordered some! I had another lady come over and ask me where my bakery was located! Nothing like a little feather fluffing!!! We went out yesterday and spent the whole afternoon out on the lake - Chris and I look like lobsters! Both of the kids are fine - neither one of them got burned! We found a couple of beaches to go and hang out on and have a picnic we also tried to do a little bit of fishing but nothing was real hungry - must have been to hot to eat! Anyway these are a couple of pics from the last couple of weeks and from yesterday.
